Our couriers have rules in place that don’t allow them to deliver any of our shipments without first receiving a signature from someone over the age of 18. None of our shipments will be left in a safe place or left with someone, a neighbour for example, who has refused to sign for the item. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. Buying Alcohol for people under the age of 18 is illegal, and accounts found to be doing so will refused orders in the future.

Golden Spoon Cakes operates in compliance with its authorised licensable activities under the relevant alcohol licence. The sale and supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises is permitted during the following times: Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 19:00, and Friday to Sunday from 09:00 to 20:30. The premises are open to the public during these same hours: Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 19:00, and Friday to Sunday from 09:00 to 20:30. All sales of alcohol are subject to applicable laws and regulations, and purchasers must ensure they meet the legal requirements for the purchase and consumption of alcohol in the UK.

If a customer places an order, receives the order, opens the bottle and then returns the bottle, a refunded will not be given.

If your item arrives broken or it is the wrong product, then we will refund the total amount in full. The refund will be processed when our courier has physically collected the stock. If the customer claims to not have received their order, but the courier has provided signed proof of delivery at the customers address, refunds will not be given. In this case, we will share the signed proof of delivery with the customer so they can see who has signed for their shipment.

A refusal/incident/accident book will be kept at the licensed premises and in each delivery vehicle.
Alcohol can only be ordered for delivery to a residential or business address and not to a public place.

Website visitors would not be able to place alcohol orders outside of the operating hours.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
Age verification - implement a rigorous age verification process both at the point of sale online and upon delivery, to ensure customers are of legal drinking age. At the time the order is placed a declaration will be required from the person placing the order that the person is over 18 years of age.
Staff training - continuous training of all staff and delivery personnel on the legal responsibilities surrounding alcohol sales, including recognising false ID's
The Protection of Children From Harm
There will be in place a written age verification policy on relation to the sale or supply of alcohol, which will specify a Challenge 25 proof of age requirement. The premises licence holder shall ensure staff working at the premises must ask individuals who appear to be under 25 years of age, attempting to purchase alcohol, to produce identification. The only acceptable identification documents will be: - A photo driving licence - A passport - An identification card carrying the PASS hologram, Unless such identification is produced the sale of alcohol must be refused. This policy will include documented steps taken to prevent adults from purchasing alcohol for or on behalf of children under 18.
